1.4 Taylor Mays (SS) - USC
Most feel that Berry was the better pick but how many SS run a 4.3 and can also play like a LB. He and Landry will be formidable for years to come. I went back and forth between Berry and Mays and the physical attributes of Mays seemed like the best fit for the Skins.
2.13 Jacoby Ford (WR/KR) - Clemson
The Skins moved into the 2nd with the sole purpose of drafting Ford. He may not have been the best WR still on the board but he was definately the fastest. His speed is scary and he istantly gives McNabb a receiver that can spread the feild opposite Moss.
This first day we felt was very productive. We got the the guys who we targeted and we feel that the rest of the draft will fill the holes that F/A won't. |
