2.11 - CB Devin McCourty - Rutgers
2.15 - DT Dan Williams - Tennessee
2.19 - WR Damian Williams - USC
2.25 - CB Patrick Robinson - Florida State
3.6 - C Joe Hawley - UNLV
3.17 - HB Jahvid Best - California
I addressed a few needs and picked up some sexy picks. Pretty happy with picks so far. I still need an OLB & a SS to draft on day 2 hopefully, or pick up out of UFA. I rounded out my CB core with some decent pickups in McCourty & Robinson, at least one of which will start. I grabbed WR Williams to fill in for the departed Breaston, in the slot, and grabbed Best, as the other HBs on the roster were more power backs, who will provide a change of pace from what they bring, SPEED. I also wanted to grab a big space eater and what better than the NFL Cards very own DT Dan Williams. Rounding out the group is Center Joe Hawley, who with some AWR boosting will be a decent starter after Jackson's tenure is over in 2-3 seasons. |
