2011 Draft Class - Offensive Skilled Positions

QB Irving Kendall – 6’3” 224lbs – 22 years old
95 THP
86 THA
57 STR

Pros: Very strong armed QB who can make all the plays. Pretty solid instincts out of the college game. Has a good build and has a decent pocket presence.

Cons: At time he can be very inaccurate and still makes bad decisions. If he can eliminate those, he’d be a real good QB.

Projection: Top 10 Pick

QB Joseph Hartley – 6’4” 184lbs – 22 years old
91 THP
84 THA
47 STR

Pros: Coming from college, although he doesn’t have great arm strength, he can make most of the throws needed. He has got good size but also is very thin.

Cons: Hartley has bad pocket presence and can’t avoid hits, is very thin for his size and at times is inaccurate with his throws.

Projection: 2nd round Pick

QB Cameron Hester – 6’3” 238lbs – 24 years old
87 THP
81 THA
70 STR

Pros: Hester is a bit of a project but has some things going for him. He has a good build, along with solid strength. He has experience and great instincts and can make most throws.

Cons: He will never have a GREAT arm but most throws he can make. He is not very accurate either. If you can take time with this kid he should be able to turn all of this around.

Projection : 3rd-4th Round Pick

HB Connor Snell – 5’10” 205lbs – 21 years old
94 SPD
68 STR
95 ACC
79 BTK

Pros: Snell is more of a speed back then power back but he is a good one at that. He gets outside the tackles and makes big plays and things happen. Very elusive also and tough to bring down.
Cons: Snell isn’t very strong and that’s not his style. But it could hurt him in his draft status as not all teams like pure speed back guys.

Projection: Late 1st-Early 2nd

HB Bronze Pittman – 5’11” 234lbs – 21 years old
91 SPD
74 STR
88 ACC
86 BTK

Pros: Pittman is probably one of the better power backs in the class. He is big and bruising and can shake off tackles real well. He has got good enough speed to get by but his real gift is to punish defenders.

Cons: He isn’t very quick in making cuts and being elusive so that could hurt him outside the tackles or even inside the tackles when he needs to make a quick cut.

Projection: Mid 1st Round Pick

HB Xavier Schultz – 6’3” 238lbs – 23 years old
89 SPD
78 STR
90 ACC
90 BTK

Pros: Schultz is the true definition of a power back. He has got a great build to do so at 6’3” 238lbs. He also is very strong and is great at fending off defenders and making them pay.

Cons: He is a little slow for a pro back but with his style he should be able to still be a starting back.

Projection: Top 15 1st Round Pick

WR Cameron Shaw – 6’4” 214lbs – 23 years old
90 SPD
69 STR
89 ACC
87 JMP

Pros: Shaw is as big as they get in this class but still is one of the better WR. He has solid speed and good strength off the ball. The skills would never be the big question as he has got great size which will help him.

Cons: He isn’t very good at route running and can’t make quick cuts when doing so. Is a little bit of a project in that department.

Projection: 1st Round Pick

WR Ivan Fulcher – 6’2” 207lbs – 23 years old
91 SPD
55 STR
92 ACC
88 JMP

Pros: Skills aside, Fulcher is one of the more polished WR in the class, with good route running skills and hands. At 6’2” he has pretty decent size and good enough speed to get by.

Cons: Although his speed is solid enough, it is still a question as he is not a monster WR size wise. He should be fine though.

Projection: Late 1st Round Pick – Early 2nd Round Pick

WR Marvin Young - 6’1” 202lbs – 23 years old
94 SPD
60 STR
95 ACC
94 JMP

Pros: Young is very fast, and very quick as a receiver. He has great hands and really knows how to run routes. He is pretty good off the line of scrimmage and would make a great pro WR.

Cons: He is a little small for some people’s likings which ultimately like most people could make him slide.

Projection: Late 1st Round Pick – Early 2nd Round Pick

TE Danny Henderson – 6’3” 247lbs – 22 years old
86 SPD
75 STR
88 ACC
57 RBK

Pros: He is by far the best overall TE in the class. He has good size, good speed, great strength, pretty good block and can make cuts in the passing game to get open in the middle of the field. Pretty much the complete package.

Cons: He doesn’t really have many to his game, besides the fact that people may like him to be a few inches taller.

Projection: 1st Round Pick
